For A Great Friend – Mixed Labels

Welcome back!  A really dark and dreary rainy day here, so I created a bright little cheer- me-up card.

Today’s combinations: Facebook Stampin’ Through the Catalog featured stamp set: Mixed Labels, an On-Line Exclusive product with the Paper Players (#724) Colors and the Atlantic Hearts (#616) Sketch.

I am also sharing this card with Inspire Create (#186) opting to choose the already selected colors for their any Pink (Flirty Flamingo), Yellow (Daffodil Delight) and Blue (Summer Splash) colors.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Summer Splash cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Flirty Flamingo cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Cross Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
• Side Panel: (2” x 4½”) Flirty Flamingo/Daffodil Delight Watercolor patterned piece of paper from the retired Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper pack.
• Accent Mat: (2½” x 2½) Summer Splash cardstock.
• Focal Panel (2⅜” x 2⅜”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Floral image from the Mixed Labels stamp set was stamped three times with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • The sentiment, for a great friend, from the same stamp set was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
• Decoration – Die Cut Grid: Daffodil Delight cardstock scrap die-cut with the Grid Strip die from the coordinating Mixed Labels Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Focal Panel was popped up with Dimensionals and a few Summer Splash 2024/2026 In-Color Shimmer Gems were added for a bit of bling.

A bright cheery little friendship card.
