Snow Much Fun – Birthday Wishes

Another Winter card…

Playing with the Cupcake Inspirations (#609) Color Palette, choosing the AAA Birthday (#69) Winter Theme with the Sketch Saturday (#767) Layout

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Bubble Batch cardstock.
• Rectangle Panels: (1⅞” x 2½”) Melon Mambo and Wisteria Wonder colored patterned papers from the retired Cheerful Treat Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The two Rectangle Panels on the right were lined up on my Grid Paper and the Tall Snowman image from the retired Snow Much Fun stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The sentiment, Birthday Wishes, from the retired Sending Smiles stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder on the lower right Rectangle Panel.
  • All four Panels were adhered in place.
• Decoration – Snowman: (2” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Tall Snowman image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Hat, Buttons and Boots – Dark Wisteria Wonder (retired); Scarf – Light Melon Mambo and Light Bubble Bath; Nose and Hat Band – Light Bubble Bath; Birds – Dark Bubble Bath; and Snow Shadows – Medium Soft Sky (retired).
  • The Snowman was fussy-cut with Paper Snips and adhered in place and his elbow was drawn in with my Fine-Tipped Black Permanent Marker.
• Three Shapes – Squares: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The Bird and Snowball image, from the Snow Much Fun stamp set, was stamped three times and colored with the Dark Bubble Bath and Medium Soft Sky Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • The images were then punched out with the retired (1¼”) Square Punch.
  • The Squares were then adhered in place completing the card.

A fun winter Birthday card.
