Snowflake – Cheers

Welcome back!  I woke up to a very cold morning here in the South…so unusual and certainly cold enough for snow.  I wonder if we will get some.

That said, there a number of winter related challenges about.  It is January after all…

CAS on Friday (#300) Winter; Inkspirational (#333) Snow; and Make My Monday (#243) Snowflakes.  I chose Addicted to CAS (#274) for the color Blue and Shopping Our Stash (#539) for a little more Glimmer than Glitter.

Here is the result:

SEASONAL LAYERS & GREETING THINLITS DIES – COS300 – IC333 – MMM243 – ATCAS274 – SOS539

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Shimmery White cardstock retired but still in my stash.
  • Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Night of Navy Shimmery Swirl patterned piece of paper from the retired Brushstroke Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Snowflakes and Sentiment: (3½” x 2¼”) retired Mother of Pearl Specialty Designer Series Paper die-cut with the two Snowflake dies from the retired Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies set and the Cheers word die from the retired Greeting Thinlits Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base for a clean and simple card design.

A really pretty shimmery winter snowflake card.
