Welcome back! Already the middle of the week…time just flies on by.
Today I am having a play with the Time Out (#279) Beginnings theme, selecting three colors from the Color Dare (#633) suggested palette and bringing it all together with a flipped Stampin’ Up! Only (#367) sketch to better accommodate my image.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Beige cardstock.
- Card Front: (4¼” x 5½”) Crushed Curry Floral patterned piece of paper from the retired Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper pack.
- Accent Mat: (2⅞” x 4¾”) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (2¾” x 4½”) Basic Beige cardstock.
- The Girl on the Steps image from the Coffee with Friends stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Hair – Medium Daffodil Delight retired Stampin’ Blendabilities Marker; Top / Flip Flops – Light Cajun Craze; Jeans – Light and Dark Lost Lagoon, and Coffee Cup – Dark Daffodil Delight retired Stampin’ Blendabilities Marker.
- Sentiment Accent Mat: (2” x 1”) Copper Clay cardstock.
- Sentiment Block: (2” x 1″) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
- The sentiment, Sometimes you just have to reheat your coffee one more time and try again, also from the Coffee with Friends stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the flipped sketch.
A reset…a new beginning…as we try again…

I can’t tell you how often I forget about my cup of coffee sitting under the coffee maker and a reheat is done, only to eventually drink my coffee cold from sitting on my desk. The sentiment made me left and so appropiate for my morning coffee. Love the image and the simplicity of your pretty card. Thanks for sharing with us at Color Dare.
