Welcome back! It is a snowy morning here today. Just hoping it stays as snow without the sleet. That said…I am thinking Spring!
Combining Beautiful Blossoms (#24) and Alphabet (Letter T) with the Atlantic Hearts (#611) Sketch for a shabby chic type of card.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Beige cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Basic Beige cardstock dry-embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
- Using Crumb Cake ink, a Blending Brush and a Sponge Dauber, the texture was highlighted and the edges colored.
- Accent Mat: (3” x 5½”) Crumb Cake cardstock die-cut with the (3½” x 5”) Octagonal Rectangle die from the Countryside Corners Dies set.
- Focal Panel: (4⅛” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
- Using a Blending Brush, retired Tahitian Tide ink was added to the cardstock and then it was die-cut with the (2⅞” x 4½”) Octagonal Rectangle die, also from the Countryside Corners Dies set.
- The Text image from the new Elements of Text stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped with 2nd Generation (stamped off once) Tahitian Tide ink.
- Focal Image – Flower Spray: (4¼” x 5½”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Floral image from the Enduring Beauty stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Light and Dark Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam.
- The Floral image was fussy-cut with Paper Snips for close edging.
- Sentiment Banner: Tahitian Tide brushed Basic White cardstock scrap left over from creating the Focal Panel.
- The word, thanks, from the Spotlight on Nature stamp set was stamped with Tahitian Tide ink and hand-flagged with Paper Snips.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble sketch with the Floral Leaves curled a little and the Sentiment popped up with Dimensionals. I added a little bit of Basic White Baker’s Twine for interest.
