Yuletide Village – Silent Night

Design Team Time: Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#491) where we CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) cards found within Stampin’ Up!’s current catalogs.  Today?  The card can be found on page 32 of the Sep – Dec Mini Catalog.

A serene clean and simple holiday card for you today that is very easy to make.

Creative choices were influenced by: Alphabet (Letter S) for Silent Night; Crafter’s Café (#314) Anything Goes with a Monochrome Twist; Farm Quest Country Christmas (#15); and Krafty Chicks (#746) Christmas theme.

Here is the result:

YULETIDE VILLAGE – WONDERLAND – CT491 – Alphabet Letter S – CCCB314 – FQCCCB15 – KCC746

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Silent Night, from the retired Wonderland stamp set was stamped with Basic Gray ink.
  • Background Panel: (5½” x 3”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Focal Panels: Basic White cardstock.  Two pieces (1½” x 2½”) and center piece (2” x 2½”).
    • Two Houses and the Church from the Yuletide Village stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the Light and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. A quick and easy monochromatic card…are we ready? Only one week to go…

Happy Holidays!

Looking forward to seeing how you choose to use the sketch.
