Memorable Blooms – On My Mind

So many deadlines fall on a Sunday, and I am working to ensure I get one of my favorites completed.  Thanks for indulging me with another card.

Clean and simple, a favorite style for Facebook’s Colour INKSpiration (#178), giving you a sneak peek of a new stamp set bundle coming in January – Memorable Blooms.

I selected the 2014 (#326) Layout for Sketch Saturday (#765) and am sharing this card with Simply Clean & Simple (#18) for the style and Krafty Chicks (#745) for the use of stamps as the main focus.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Old Olive cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The edges of the Panel were die-cut with the (3¼” x 4⅝”) Edging Stitch die from the retired Stitched with Whimsy Dies set.
  • The Leafy image stamp was stamped twice with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with both the Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • The sentiment, You’ve been on my mind, was also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
• Decoration – Flowers: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The Floral image was again stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with both the Light and Dark Old Olive and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers and then die-cut with the coordinating die.

To complete the card, the Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals and a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added for a wee bit of bling.

A lovely little card, so easy to make and perfect for any occasion.
