Filled with Joy – Sending Lots of Cheer

Welcome back!  Just about time to celebrate Thanksgiving. A few years back I had the opportunity to see the Parade Balloons being inflated when I was in NYC.  Since then, we always try to catch the parade preview show. So, that is where you will find me tonight.

Having a little fun in the Studio with another Holiday card.  I picked the Color Dare (#627) Palette, the Sketch Saturday (#764) Layout with their twist incorporating this week’s TGIF (#500) Technique to Tear It Up!

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5½” x 1½”) Pool Party, Petal Pink and Lost Lagoon cardstock scraps hand-torn and dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
• Shapes – Ornaments:  Filled with Joy November 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit Ornaments chosen because the colors matched nicely.
• Sentiment Flag: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap die-cut with the small Banner die from the retired All That Dies set.
  • The sentiment, Sending lots of cheer, from the Filled with Joy stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and two of the Ornaments and the Sentiment Flag were popped-up with Dimensionals.
