Greetings of the Season – Latte Love

Design Team Time: Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#485) where we CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) cards found within Stampin’ Up!’s current catalogs.  Today?  The card can be found on page 44 of the Sep – Dec Mini Catalog.

My choices were influenced by so many challenges: Double Trouble (#179) who is partnering with Coffee Lovers (2024) and Inspiration Station (#67) for a Coffee Theme and Shopping Our Stash (#534) with a Hot Drinks Theme.

I selected the CAS Colours & Sketches (#548) Palette and to share with Caffeinated Coffee (#35); Simply Clean & Simple (#17); and Paper Craft Crew (#564).

Here is the result:

LATTE LOVE BUNDLE – GREETINGS OF THE SEASON – CT485 – DT179 – CLBH2024 – ISC67 – SOS534 – CC&S548 – CCCC35 – SCS017 – PCC594

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Shy Shamrock cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Cross Strip: (5¼” x 1”) Holly Berry patterned piece of paper from the retired Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Shapes – Coffee Cups: Basic White cardstock scraps.
    • The Coffee Cup image from the Latte Love stamp set, an On-Line Exclusive product, was stamped in each of the colors: Shy Shamrock, Real Red and Shaded Spruce inks.
    • The Leaf Coffee Art image, from the same stamp set, was then added with Pecan Pie ink.
    • The Coffee Cups were colored with the Light and Dark matching Stampin’ Blends Markers.
    • The Leaf Coffee Art was colored with the Ivory Stampin’ Blend Marker and then enhanced with Wink of Stella Glitter (so pretty but hard to see).
    • The Coffee Cups were then die-cut with the coordinating die from the Latte Love Dies set, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • Sentiment Blocks: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The sentiments, Wishing you a, Happy, and Holidays, from the Greetings of the Season stamp set, also an On-Line Exclusive product, were stamped with Shaded Spruce ink and closely trimmed with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Red Coffee Cup was popped with Dimensionals.

Ho, Ho, Ho Happy Holiday Coffee Cheers!

Looking forward to seeing how you choose to use the sketch.
