Season of Green & Gold Thank You card

Welcome to Sunday and the newest Paper Players (#714) challenge.  This week, Elizabeth has chosen the theme “Give Thanks”.

Additional Inspiration: Tic Tac Toe (#259) for Leaves, Twine and a Fun Fold; Inkspirational (#328) for Layers; and sharing with If You Give a Crafter a Cookie (#198) and Creative Creases (#94).

Here is the result:

WILDFLOWER DESIGNS – SEASON OF GREEN & GOLD SPECIALTY DSP – PP714 – TTTC259 – IC328 – CC198 – CCC94

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 4¼” scored at 5½”) Mossy Meadow cardstock.

  • Inside Panel Card Base: (5¼” x 4”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • Inside Panel / Top Panel Joy Fold: (4” x 3”) Very Vanilla cardstock.

  • Joy Fold Top Background: (3¾” x 2¾”) Leafy patterned piece of paper, also from the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper Pack.
  • A piece of Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine was wrapped around the Joy Fold decorated top and a Bow was added.
  • Sentiment: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, Thank You, from the Wildflower Designs stamp set was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and die-cut with the (2⅜” x ¾”) Elongated Octagonal die from the Countryside Corners Dies set.

All layers were adhered to the Card Base and the Joy Fold, completing the card.  The sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals.

The Greens of Summer fade into the Golds of Fall.

  1. I had trouble leaving a comment because it said I wasn’t logged into Word Press, but I am! Rather than duplicate my comment just in case it posts, I’ll just say thank you for playing at CCC.

  2. So, one comment posted but not the other. What I had said previously is that this was one of my fave folds and who doesn’t love green and gold! Thanks for supporting CCC.
