Welcome back! A few deadlines are creeping up and I am trying to beat the clock.
Double Trouble (#178) Create Anything and play with a previous partner.

So, I am playing with Try A Sketch On Tuesday (#657). For the theme, I chose Stampin’ Up! Only (#363) for Treats and Time Out (#275) for Baked Sweets. I selected Creative Colour (#165) for the palette.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Balmy Blue cardstock.
- Background Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Basic White cardstock.
- The sentiment, Treat Yourself, from the Attention Shoppers stamp set was double stamped with Basic Gray and Balmy Blue inks for a shadow effect and then the panel was dry-embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder.
- Oval Mat: (2½” x 3½”) Petunia Pop cardstock die-cut with the (2⅛” x 3⅛”) Oval die from the retired Framelits Oval Collection Dies set.
- Oval Shape: (2” x 3”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The Cake image, from the same stamp set, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the Candles were colored with the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers and shadows were added with the Light Smoky Slate Marker.
- The Cake was die-cut with the (1¾” x 2⅝”) Oval die from the same Dies set.
- Decoration – Cake: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The Cake image was stamped again and colored with both the Light and Dark Balmy Blue and Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends Markers and then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the colored Cake was popped-up with Dimensionals.
Enjoy!

Fabulous card. Loving the texture of the embossing and how you “shadowed” the sentiment. Thanks for joining us at Try A Sketch On Tuesday.

Cute card, Jolanda, and a great way to prove that a “treat” card doesn’t necessarily have to be a Halloween card. Great use of the colors and embossing folder. Thanks for playing along with us at SUO Challenges!
