Warm Wishes – Holiday Bear

Design Team Time: Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#478) where we CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) cards found within Stampin’ Up!’s current catalogs.  Today?  The card can be found on page 51 of the Sep – Dec Mini Catalog.  

Inspiration: Christmas – the original card; Make My Monday (#234) for their Teddy Bear theme; Krafty Chicks (#733) for their Christmas Week theme; and Christmas (or not) Bingo (#9) for a minimum of 3 items – choosing the Letter – N.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Real Red cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Diagonal Striped Holiday patterned piece of paper from the Take A Bow Designer Series Paper pack.
• Accent Mat: (3¼” x 4¼”) Garden Green cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (3” x 4”) Holiday Plaid Bordered card from the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack.
• Sentiment: Warm Wishes Double Banner trimmed with Paper Snips from another of the (3” x 4”) cards from the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack.
• Focal Image – Teddy Bear: From the Joyful Images Ephemera Pack closely trimmed with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. Both the Sentiment and the Teddy Bear were popped up with Dimensionals.  At heart, I am a straight-line square girl.  I figured the diagonal patterned paper makes up for the fact that I did not tilt the top panel.

Having fun with no stamps and no inks to create fun holiday cards with the new Holiday offerings via the Ephemera and Memories & More Card Packs.
