Welcome to Sunday and the newest Paper Players (#707) challenge. This week, Ann has chosen CAS (clean and simple) as our style with a Nature theme.

Additional inspiration for design elements were influenced by both Festive Friday (#168) and Tic Tac Toe (#256) to dress up my card a little bit.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock dry-embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder for the Nature theme.
- Focal Image – Animals: Bird patterned piece of paper from the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper pack die-cut with Postage Stamp dies from the Perennial Postage Dies set. Sizes: (1⅜” x 1⅜”); (1⅛” x 1⅞”); and (1⅞” x 1⅞”).
- The “Stamp” edges were antiqued with Crumb Cake ink applied with a Sponge Dauber.
- Sentiment Stamp: Basic Beige cardstock scrap.
- The sentiment, thanks FOR being YOU, from the Penciled Pear stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, die-cut with the (1⅞” x 1⅛”) Postage Stamp die and sponged with Cherry Cobbler ink using another Sponge Dauber.
All elements were adhered to the card base in a clean and simple style. Some Jute Twine and a few retired 2023/2025 In-Color Enamel Dots in Copper Clay and Pebbled Path were added to dress up the Vintage Styling.
Birds are one a Nature’s loveliest creations.

Jolanda, you’ve created a wonderful card with those sweet birds and a great layout that works well for smaller images. The woodgrain background and twine give it a nice rustic feel too. Beautiful!
