Tune In – You’re Super

Welcome back!  A brand-new week full of possibilities…

For the Freshly Made (#652) sketch, I chose the TGIF (#489) colors and the new stamp set / die bundle, Tune In.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Beige cardstock.
• Background Top Panel: (5⅛” x 2¾”) Basic Beige cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
• Shape – Circle: (3¾” x 3¾”) Berty Burst cardstock die-cut with the (3⅝”) Circle die from the Deckled Circles Dies set, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Background Bottom Panel: (5⅛” x 1½”) Basic Beige cardstock.
  • The greeting, You’re Super, was stamped into Versamark ink and then into Berry Burst ink and heat-set with Clear Embossing Powder.
  • Additionally, the Quasar image was stamped with both Night of Navy and Berry Burst ink to decorate the Panel.
• Cross Strip: (5⅛” x ¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
• Focal Image – Television: (3½” x 3”) Basic Beige, Vellum, and Crumb Cake cardstock along with Night of Navy and Berry Burst cardstock scraps.
  • The Television image was stamped onto the Crumb Cake piece with Pecan Pie ink.
  • The Stay Tuned message was stamped into Versamark ink and then into Night of Navy ink and heat-set with Clear Embossing Powder onto the Vellum piece.
  • All three pieces, Basic Beige, Vellum and Crumb Cake were die-cut with the coordinating Television die.  Additionally, the Crumb Cake Television Screen was die-cut with the coordinating Screen die.
  • The Television Test Pattern die was used to create the shapes from the Night of Navy and Berry Burst scraps.
  • The Test Pattern pieces were adhered to the Basic Beige TV and the Vellum TV was sandwiched in between and under the Crumb Cake TV.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Television was popped up with Dimensionals.

A fun take for an appreciation card!
