From Our House To Yours

Welcome back!  It is already Wednesday…boy does the week go by fast.

Rumbling around in my head are two challenges that have today as the deadline.  Inspire Create (#175) with a sketch and Farm Quest Country Christmas (#11) for their monthly theme.

I was doing a little rearrangement of my vast patterned paper collection (an admitted hoarder) and came across the very pretty retired Rings of Love Designer Series Paper.  Perhaps a couple of designed sheets would work?

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
• Triple Split Panel: (5” x 4”) Icy Blue Snowy patterned piece of paper that felt like a winter windswept landscape.  I cut it into three pieces: (2” x 4”); (3” x 1¾”); and (3” x 2⅛”).
  • The sentiment, From our house to yours, from the retired itty Bitty Christmas stamp set was stamped with Night of Navy ink in the lower left corner.
• Accent Mat – Circle: (2¼” x 2¼”) Basic White cardstock scrap die-cut with the (2⅛”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set and dry-embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
• Focal Image – House: One of the Blue Houses from the House patterned piece of paper was fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The House was popped up with Dimensionals and three blue-toned Tinsel Gems were added for more winter bling.
