Floral Thank You

Hi again!  Some late afternoon creativity…

An interesting set of colors presented by Creative Colors (#155) mixed with the current Atlantic Hearts (#591) sketch.

Here we go:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pretty Peacock cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Pretty Peacock cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
• Side Panel: (2¼” x 4¾”) Pretty Peacock Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper, an On-Line Exclusive product.
• Decorative Ribbon / Cording: Calypso Coral Braided Linen Trim (retired).
• Shape – Circular Seashell: Calypso Coral cardstock dry-embossed and die-cut with the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies set.
  • The Seashell was edged with Early Espresso ink applied with a Sponge Dauber.
• Decoration – Flower: Calypso Coral cardstock scrap.
  • The Floral image from the Hooray for Surprises stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Copper Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the coordinating die from the Hooray for Surprises Dies set.
• Sentiment: Early Espresso cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Thank You, from the Wildflower Designs stamp set was also stamped with Versamark ink and then heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the small Stitched Label die from the Wild Ferns Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch with the Seashell, Flower and Sentiment all popped up with Dimensionals.

Liking how the Calypso Coral pops against the jewel tone of Pretty Peacock and the earthiness of the Early Espresso.  A very elegant Thank You card.
