Eastern Blooms – Hello There

Design Time: This round Hand Stamped Sentiments (#444) has a light and breezy summer Mood Board to inspire your creations.  I picked up the colors, the stripes, the flowers and the texture.

I opted to go retro with my stamp set choices to play along with the Retro Rubber (#236) Slim-Line Sketch and sharing my card with the current Alphabet (Letter I) Colors as they were a match.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (7” x 6” scored at 3½”) Pretty in Pink cardstock for a Mini Slim-Line card.
• Accent Mat: (5¾” x 3¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The bold sentiment, Hello There, from the retired Hello There stamp set (circa 2014) was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist ink.
  • The Panel was then dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
• Vertical Cross Strip: (1¼” x 3½”) Smoky Slate Striped patterned piece of paper from the 2024/2025 Neutrals Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Shapes – Flowers: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The Triple Floral image from the retired Eastern Blooms stamp set (circa 2008) was stamped with Pretty in Pink ink. A few color details were added to the Flowers with the Light Smoky Slate, Lemon Lime Twist and Pretty in Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • The Flowers were then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Flowers were popped up with Dimensionals.

A fresh and simple greeting card.
