Friends For Life – Hi

Chasing another deadline…this time for Color Throwdown (#803) and choosing the Just Add Ink (#712) Sketch.

The theme:  Bobbing along on the Ocean blue comes to mind based on the color inspiration photo.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Daffodil Delight cardstock.
• Rectangle Panels: Azure Afternoon and Basic White cardstock.
  • Four Basic White cardstock strips (6” x 1½”) were attached to Adhesive Sheet pieces cut to the same size and die-cut using the Bubble String die from the Irresistible Blooms Dies set, and On-Line Exclusive product.
  • The Adhesive Sheet backing was removed and the Bubble String strip was adhered to (6” x 1½”) Azure Afternoon cardstock strips.
  • The Panels were trimmed to (4” x 1¼”) and adhered to the card base.
• Shape – Heart: (3” x 3”) Melon Mambo cardstock scrap.
  • The Heart was die-cut using the Heart die from the Friends For Life Dies set.
  • The Leaf image and the word, Hi, from the Friends For Life stamp set were stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The Heart was popped up with Dimensionals.

Another fun summer bright card but this time for a friendly Hello.
