Welcome back. A few Friday deadlines are creeping up on me…
I am playing with Inkspirational (#320) to use more than one company’s product(s) and using a Close To My Heart Die that I was gifted with the current Sketch Saturday (#755) layout and combining that with Heart’s Quest (#58) and Farm Quest (#56) who have similar requirements.

I have a friend that lives in Sante Fe, New Mexico and all of the gorgeous photos from her Adobe Home look out on to a dry landscape and she has decorated her patio space with lots of plants in terracotta pots. This provided the inspiration for my design choice.
Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Beige cardstock.
- Background Zig Zag Panel: (4¼” x 5½”) Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock and Petal Pink cardstock die-cut with the Geometric Grid Die (CTMH).
- The Cajun Craze Frame was adhered to the card base and the Pretty Peacock and Petal Pink Chads were Paper Pieced into the Frame in a zig-zag pattern.
- Vertical Cross Strip: (1⅛” x 5”) Vellum cut diagonally along the bottom to match the gridline.
- Bottom Shape: Basic Beige cardstock scrap.
- The Large Planter Pot from the Planted Paradise stamp set was stamped with Cajun Craze ink and fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
- Center Shape: Basic Beige cardstock scraps.
- Foliage images from the Planted Paradise stamp set were stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and also fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
- Top Shape: Petal Pink and Basic Beige cardstock scraps.
- The sentiment, Love you, from the now retired Season of Chic stamp set was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink onto the Basic Beige cardstock and die-cut with the (⅝”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
- A Petal Pink Accent Mat was also die-cut with the (1¼”) Stitched Circle die.
All elements were adhered to the card to resemble the sketch. I punched out five (5) small Hearts in Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock and Basic Beige with the retired Owl Builder Punch and added them to the Terracotta Pot.
Who wouldn’t love a big pot of Succulents and/or Cacti to warm up a dry corner?
