Welcome back. Yikes! It is already Thursday. Guess what? Only 5 months until Christmas…and I am keeping it simple.
That said, I am playing with a number challenges that are Holiday centric: Stampin’ Up! Only (#356); TGIF (#482); Color Hues (#91) along with Choosing the (Red, White and Green) Hungarian Flag for Colorful Options (July) and playing with Circles for the Facebook Global Design Project (#455) Theme.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Garden Green cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (4” x 5¼”) Real Red cardstock.
- Card Front: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
- Taking inspiration from the TGIF image, I selected the retired Merry Medley Background stamp. One I have had in my collection, but it had never seen ink and stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- For Global Design, I selected the Circle image from the retired Textures & Frames stamp set, and added both Real Red and Garden Green inked circles randomly highlighting various phrases.
All done! Just stamps, ink and paper…truly #simplestamping.
A quick Christmas card that is so easy to replicate. A whole batch done in a jiffy.
