Thoughtful Moments – Layers of Beauty

Welcome back!  Sneaking in a little card making time this afternoon.

Playing with the Tuesday Morning (#759) Sketch and the Facebook Colour INKspiration (#166) Palette for the Time Out (#265) Quote.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accent Panel: (5¼” x 4”) Basic Black cardstock.
• Focal Panel: (5⅛” x 3⅞”) Basic White cardstock
  • The Floral image from the Layers of Beauty stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
  • The image was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Light and Dark Melon Mambo, Lemon-Lime Twist, Petunia Pop and Summer Splash.
• Sentiment:  Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • Using both the Embossing Folder and the Die from the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Set, an On-Line Exclusive product, the sentiment – You Make Me Happy – on the embossing folder was inked with Summer Splash ink and the die was fitted over the positioned cardstock and the embossing folder was closed and sent through the Cut & Emboss Machine.  Resulting in the colored die-cut.

All elements were adhered to the cards base to resemble the sketch with the sentiment popped up with Dimensionals.

A lovely all occasion card.
