Tuesday! Design Team time…
This round at Hand Stamped Sentiments (#439), we have a sweet color challenge.

I selected the Try A Sketch on Tuesday (#647) layout and am sharing the card with Love to Craft (#80) anything goes.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Lost Lagoon cardstock.
- Vertical Strips: (1” x 3¼”) Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
- The Strips were cut just shy of (1”).
- They were lined up together and stamped with the Open Leaf image from the Lifetime of Love stamp set.
- The Strips were adhered to the bottom of the Background Panel.
- The entire Panel was then dry-embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder.
- I did not like the Eyelet Texture on the Strips, so re-embossed the lower section with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder for a softer look.
- Cross Strip: (10”) Petal Pink Metallic Edged Ribbon, now retired cut in half and added to the Panel.
- Accent Mat: (2¼” x 3”) Petal Pink cardstock scrap die-cut with the (1⅞” x 2⅝”) Stitched Rectangle die from the Nested Essentials Dies set.
- The truncated line, sending hugs & love, from one of the greeting stamps found in the retired Phrases for All stamp set was stamped with Lost Lagoon ink along the bottom edge.
- Focal Image: (1¾” x 2½”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The Daisy image, also from the Lifetime of Love stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends Markers.
- The image was die-cut with the (1½” x 2⅛”) Stitched Rectangle die, also from the Nested Essentials Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The matted Focal image was popped up with Dimensionals.
A pretty little pick-me-up card.

Loving all the texture that you bring to your cards even with patterned papers… beautiful card and great interpretation to our TSOT sketch… take a look at Double Trouble and see where your card might fit in for our 6th Anniversary, kraft is not required… hope to see you there. Thanks for sharing with us at TSOT.

I love the texture that you added along with the stamping on the bottom of the layout. Nicely done. I also really like the rounded dot dies that you used on the main center point of the card. Wonderful card! Thanks for playing over at TSOT.
