Unbounded Beauty – Celebrate

Catching up with this week’s Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#461).  The card we are case-ing can be found on page 53 of the Annual Catalog.  I rather liked the choice of stamp sets and decided to use them with a few tweaks. 

Additional Inspiration: Inspired By (#289) for the blue and white flowers; Inspiration Station (#61) for the florals; and Shopping Our Stash (#522) for a growing garden…

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (5” x 3¾”) Boho Blue cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5” x 3¾”) Balmy Blue Stylized Floral patterned piece of paper from the 2024/2025 Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Shapes – Flowers: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The Out-line Floral image from the Flowers of Beauty stamp set was stamped with Balmy Blue and Boho Blue inks.
  • The coordinating two-step In-Fill Floral image was stamped with 2^nd Generation (stamped off once) Balmy Blue and Boho Blue inks.
  • The Flowers were die-cut with the coordinating Flower die from the Flowers of Beauty Dies set.
• Sentiment: Balmy Blue cardstock scrap.
  • The word, celebrate, from the Unbounded Love stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • The sentiment was die-cut with the Leaf Border Frame die from the coordinating Unbounded Love Dies set.
• Additional Shapes – Leaves: Basic White and Boho Blue cardstock scraps.
  • Two additional Leaf Frames were die-cut in Basic White.  One to frame the sentiment in-set and the other was trimmed with Paper Snips and tucked in to support the Flowers.
  • The Small Single Leaf and the Double Leaf dies were selected to die-cut the other Leaf elements in Boho Blue to also support the Flowers.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble a version of the sketch and the top Flower was popped up with Dimensionals.

The card looks really pretty in blue and is a nice option to celebrate almost any occasion.
