Latte Love French Press – Cup Stack

Welcome to Sunday and the newest Paper Players (#690) challenge.  This week, Anne-Marie needs to tickle her punny-bone and is looking for a humorous CAS (clean and simple) card.  I hope a little coffee humor makes you smile…

I selected the color palette suggested by Color Throwdown (#793) along with the Freshly Made (#636) Sketch and sharing with Krafty Chicks (#716) for their CAS theme week.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Coastal Cabana cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Basic White cardstock.
• Block Mat: (3⅛” x 3⅛”) Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
• Block: (3″ x 3”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Sketch Center Image – Sentiment: From the Coffee or Tea stamp set from Simply Stamps, the sentiment/pun: No one stacks up to you, was stamped with Coastal Cabana ink.
• Sketch Left Image – French Press: Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso and Vellum cardstock scraps die-cut with the French Press die pieces from the Latte Love Dies set.
• Sketch Top, Right and Bottom Images – Coffee Cups: Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana and Pumpkin Pie cardstock scraps die-cut with the Coffee Cup dies also from the Latte Love Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to reflect the essence of the sketch, yet keeping the card neat and clean for a retro-colored coffee theme celebrating that someone special!
