Textured Floral – You Make me Smile

Welcome back!  What a pretty Monday…lots of sunshine today…that always makes me happy.

Let’s have some fun with new stuff.  The new In-Color Shy Shamrock and two products, the Textured Floral stamp set and coordinating dies along with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder moving forward into the new Catalog, that will be available in May.

Playing with Festive Friday (#157) and choosing, Green, Enamel Dots, Thread and Dry Embossing from the list of ten choices and the latest Global Design Project (#442) Sketch.  I am also popping this card into the Seize The Birthday (#282) challenge to share another Green plus one color (white) option.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Shy Shamrock cardstock.
• Background Panel (5⅜” x 4⅛”) Shy Shamrock cardstock dry-embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
• Accent Panel: (3¾” x 3¼”) Shy Shamrock Striped patterned piece of paper from the 2024/2026 In-Color Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Sentiment Label: (3¼” x ⅞”) Shy Shamrock cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Every Thought Of You makes me smile, from the Textured Floral stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
• Decoration – Leafy Stems: Shy Shamrock and Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • Two of the Leafy Stems dies from the coordinating Textured Floral Dies set were cut.

The DSP Accent Panel was adhered to the Dry-Embossed Panel and White Baker’s Twine was wrapped around.  The completed Panel was popped up with Dimensionals on to the card base.  The Sentiment was also then popped up with Dimensionals as was the Shy Shamrock Die-Cut Leafy Stem.  The Basic White Leafy Stem was then adhered over top of the Shy Shamrock one and three White Classic Matte Dots were added.

This card is ideal as a Friendship card but could also be used for a sweet Birthday card.
