High Tide – By Your Side

Hi again!  One more for today…

Playing with Color Throwdown (#789), a classic Red and Navy with Gold.  So very Nautical! I picked the square card design from Freshly Made Sketches (#632) to create my card.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 4¼” scored at 4¼”) Night of Navy cardstock.
• Background Panels: (4¼” x 3¼”) Real Red and White Diagonal Striped patterned piece of paper from the 2023/2024 Regals Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Accent Mat: (2⅞” x 3⅞”) Wild Wheat cardstock.
• Focal Image – Lighthouse Scene: (2¾” x 3¾”) Basic White cardstock.  All stamped images from the retired High Tide stamp set.
  • The Two Step Lighthouse image was stamped with Smoky Slate and Real Red inks.
  • The Ground/Sand image was stamped with 2^nd Generation (stamped off once) Wild Wheat ink.
  • The Lighthouse was masked with a bit of repositionable tape and the Water image was stamped three times with 2^nd Generation Night of Navy ink.
  • The sentiment, In High Tide or Low Tide, I’ll be by your Side, was stamped with Wild Wheat ink.
  • The Seagulls image was added with Smoky Slate ink.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Focal Panel was popped up with Dimensionals.  Just stamps, ink and paper for a #simplestamping card.
