Bird’s Eye View – Thank You So Much

Welcome to the weekend!  Any wonderful plans?  Me?  Play time…among some laundry chores. 

Today’s card is for Colour INKspiration (#163) and Atlantic Hearts (#753).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Lower Panel: (5¼” x 2”) Silver Striped patterned piece of paper from the retired Silver & Gold Specialty Paper pack.
  • The bottom Stripes were colored with Stampin’ Blends and retired Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers.  Colors chosen: Light Coastal Cabana; Light Starry Sky; a blend of Light Starry Sky, Light Highland Heather and Light Fresh Freesia to approximate Gorgeous Grape; Poppy Parade; and Medium Daffodil Delight as it looks almost like Crushed Curry.
• Center Strip: Uncolored Stripes approximately (½”).
• Top Panel: (5¼” x 1¼”) Coastal Cabana Cross Hatch patterned piece of paper from the retired 2020/2021 Brights Collection Designer Series Paper pack.
• Sentiment Accent Mat: (3” x 1¼”) Starry Sky cardstock scrap.
• Sentiment Block: (2¾” x 1”) Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Thank you so much, from the Layering Leaves stamp set was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink.
• Decoration – Birds: Basic White cardstock scraps.
  • The two selected Birds from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the same Stampin’ Blends Markers – Coastal Cabana, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight.
  • The Birds were then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. Three blue / green Tinsel Gems were added for a bit of bling.

Having fun with these colors and fun with those cute little birds.
