Spotlight on Nature – Thanks

Hi again!  Quiet day about the House of J, so I am able to continue playing in the Studio…

This time around: Color Throwdown (#788) with Just Add Ink (#697).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 4¼” scored at 4¼”) Pretty in Pink cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5⅜” x 4⅛”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
• Shape Mats – Circles: Pretty in Pink, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight cardstock pieces die-cut with various Decorative Edged Circle dies from the Spotlight on Nature Dies set.
  • Pretty in Pink (2¾”)
  • Daffodil Delight (2¼”)
  • Granny Apple Green (1”)
• Shape Images – Circles: Basic White cardstock pieces.
  • Images from the Spotlight on Nature stamp set were stamped and punched out with various Circle Punches.
  • (2¼”) Tulips stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with both the Light and Dark Pretty in Pink and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • (1¾”) Butterfly, also stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with the Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • (¾”) Cross Hatch was stamped with Granny Apple Green ink.
• Sentiment Tag: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Thanks, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and die-cut with the (2⅛” x ¾”) Tag die from the Tailor Made Tags Dies set.
  •  A piece of the Pretty in Pink Bordered Ribbon was cut, removing the border edges and threaded through the Tag Hole and then shredded

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the mirror image of the sketch and the Tulips Circle image and the Sentiment Tag were popped up with Dimensionals.

A lovely Spring Thank You card.
