By My Side – Hello

Happy Sunday!  A few more challenge deadlines today.  Let’s create.

Playing with Creative Colour (#136) and the Tuesday Morning (#752) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 4¼” scored at 4¼”) Blueberry Bushel cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Strip Weave: (approx. ¼” x 6”) Dashed patterned pieces of paper from the 2023/2024 Regals Collection and Brights Collection Designer Series Paper packs in Blueberry Bushel, Pretty Peacock and Melon Mambo,
  •  The Strips were adhered to the panel to resemble the sketch.
• Accent Circle Underlay: (3¼” x 3¼”) Melon Mambo cardstock die-cut with that same sized Circle die from the retired Circles Collection Thinlits Dies set.
• Focal Circle: (4” x 4”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Girl with Butterfly image from the By My Side stamp set was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Butterfly – Light Pretty Peacock and Melon Mambo; Hair – Light Wild Wheat and Bronze; Top – Light Melon Mambo; and Skirt – Light Blueberry Bushel.
  • The image was die-cut with the (3¼”) Decorative Edge Circle die from the new Spotlight on Nature Dies set.
• Sentiment Flag: Pretty Peacock cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Hello, from the Hills of Tuscany stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder and then trimmed with Paper Snips.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and the Focal Circle image was popped up with Dimensionals.

Have Butterflies been visiting with you yet?  I have seen a few floating about in my yard.
