Planted Paradise – Thank You

Let’s play!!  It is Tuesday and time to create for this week’s Facebook Case-ing Tuesday (#455).  The original card can be found on page 69 of the Jan – Apr Mini Catalog.

I opted to create a thank you card using the Planted Paradise stamp set for today’s Facebook Stampin’ Through The Catalog choice.  I also selected colors from the Color Dare (#594) palette and am sharing this card with Ellibelle’s Crafty Wednesday (April) Anything Goes.

Here is the result:

PLANTED PARADISE – SIMPLY ZINNIA – CT455 – STTC – CD594 – ECWC April 2024

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Starry Sky cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (4⅛” x 5⅜”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Cross Hatch patterned Basics 3D Embossing Folder, an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • Accent Mat: (2⅝” x 4⅝”) Sweet Sorbet cardstock.
  • Accent Panel: (2½” x 4½”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Diamond patterned Fun Patterns Embossing Folder, also an On-Line Exclusive product.
  • Sentiment Label: (2⅜” x ⅞”) Sweet Sorbet cardstock scrap.
    • The sentiment, Thank You so much, from the On-Line Exclusive Simply Zinnia stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • Focal Image – Potted Plants: Basic White cardstock scraps.
    • The Large Pot image was stamped with Starry Sky ink (for Sapphire).
    • The Straight Edged Leave image was stamped five times with Mossy Meadow ink (for Pine).
    • The Wavy Edged Leave image was stamped four times with Garden Green ink (for Jade).
    • The Succulent Type image was stamped three times with Sweet Sorbet ink (for Scarlet).
    • All piece were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
    • Using Mini Glue Dots, the Leaves and Flowers were arranged in the Pot.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble a version of the sketch.  The Plant Pot was popped up with Dimensionals.

The Planted Paradise stamp set was one of the firsts on my must have list when this catalog came out in January.  I am so glad it will continue to be available for the coming year.
