Sweet Thoughts – Circle Sayings

Welcome back!  It’s Saturday.  Will you have a chance to be creative?

This is the card I created today…for Just Add Ink (#696) Inspiration Photo – Cake and Colors, the Global Design Project (#439) Sweet Treat Theme and the Crafter’s Cafe (#306) Food Theme using the Atlantic Hearts (#571) Sketch.  I am also sharing with the current Krafty Chicks (#710) challenge.

Here is the result:

CIRCLE SAYINGS – SHARING SWEET THOUGHTS – JAI696 – GDP439 – CCCB306 – AHSC571 – KCC710

  • Sentiment Panel: (2¾” x 2”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The sentiment, Sharing sweet thoughts, from the retired Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set was stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.
  • Focal Images – Cupcakes:  Basic White cardstock and Heart patterned pieces of paper from the 2023 /2024 Subtles Collection Designer Series Paper pack: Highland Heather and Pool Party.
    • The Cupcake image from the Circle Sayings stamp set was stamped four times.  Two on the Basic White cardstock and one each on the patterned paper.
    • The patterned paper Cupcake Liners were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
    • The Cupcake Icing and Cake were colored with the Light Lemon Lolly, Pool Party and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers and then fussy-cut.
    • The Cupcake Liners were adhered in place.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  One Cupcake was popped up with Dimensionals.
