Forever Love – Wedding Card

Design Team Time.  This round at Hand Stamped Sentiments (#432), the Inspiration Mood Board reads “Love”.

February is the month of Love.  February 14^th is also a popular day to get married.  One year we were on holiday in San Antonio and everywhere we went that day, we bumped into one wedding after another.  So, there are several more challenges that are related.  Inspire Create (#161) All About Love; Make My Monday (#219) Love; and Alphabet (Letter W) for Weddings.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (4” x 5¼”) Wild Wheat cardstock.
• Background Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Moody Mauve cardstock dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
• Decoration – Wreath & Leaves: (3½” x 3½”) Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.
  • The Wreath and Leaf dies from the Lifetime of Loves Dies set were used to create the backdrop for the Focal image.
• Focal image – Roses: Gold on Mauve Floral patterned piece of paper from the Forever Love Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The smaller Rose Spray image was fussy-cut with Paper Snips from the Floral patterned sheet.
• Sentiment Block: Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
  • The sentiment, Congtraulations on your Wedding Day, from the Lifetime of Love stamp set was stamped with Moody Mauve ink and die-cut with the (2⅛” x 1⅜”) Stitched die from the Timeless Arrangements Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base.  The Roses and the Sentiment were popped up with Dimensionals.

Romance and Love, Pink Roses and Gold…just perfect for a Wedding.
