A Quilting We Will Bee…

Welcome back!  I am having a play with a few coordinating challenges.

Inspired By (#276) Quilts; Heart’s Quest (#48) with a Fabric / Sewing Motif; and Farm Quest (#46) for my take on a Martha Washington Quote that includes the phrase “Busy as a Bee”.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Poppy Parade Stitched patterned piece of paper from the retired Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The three center circles were die-cut with (1⅜”) Stitched Circle die from the Everyday Details Dies set.
• Quilt Pieces – (1⅜”) Circles cut with the same die.
  • Four Needlepoint Flowers also from the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Two Petal Pink Bursts from the retired Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper pack.
  • One Basic White cardstock.
    • The word, made, from the retired Limited Edition stamp set was colored with the Poppy Parade Stampin’ Write Marker and then stamped.
    • The phrase, with Love, from the Crafting With You stamp set was also stamped with Poppy Parade ink.
    • The Circle was die-cut and then dry-embossed with the retired Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

The Background Panel was adhered to the card base.  The Petal Pink Circles were set in the die-cut openings and the Sentiment Circle was popped up with Dimensionals.  The Needlepoint Flower Circles were added on top.  A Petal Pink Enamel Heart from the Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers collection was added to the Sentiment Circle.

For Heart Quest, we have 1) Stitch Marks, 2) Fabric Patterned Papers, and 3) a Heart Shaped Charm.

A labor of love to create a Quilt.  I cherish the ones I have from my Mother-In-Law.
