Thanks A Latte – A Nice Cuppa and More

Shall we have a coffee, tea or hot chocolate?  For the Inspired By (#275) theme, colors and sketch.  Sharing with Coffee Loving Cardmakers for a Coffee Date with Laurel and Amy and using elements suggested by Just Add Ink (#688).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
• Accent Mat: (3¾” x 5⅛”) Pool Party cardstock die-cut with that same sized Stitched Rectangle die from the retired Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies set.
• Background Panel: (3⅜” x 4¾”) Pool Party Linen patterned piece of paper from the Free Sale-a-bration Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper pack die-cut with that same sized Stitched Rectangle die from the same Die set.
• Decoration – Cups: Basic White cardstock.
  • The Tea Cup image from the retired A Nice Cuppa stamp set was stamped with Bubble Bath ink and decorated with the Heart image over-stamped with Melon Mambo ink.
  • The two Tea Cup images from the retired Cup of Tea stamp set were stamped with Melon Mambo ink.
  • The Tea Cup with the Leaf Design was colored with the Dark Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends Marker.
  • The Foam image from the retired Coffee Café stamp set was stamped with Pool Party ink.
  • All six images were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
• Sentiment Oval: Basic White cardstock scrap.
  • The Thanks A Latte sentiment from the retired Coffee Cafe stamp set was also stamped with Melon Mambo ink and fussy cut with Paper Snips.

All of the pieces were adhered in place to resemble the sketch.  Several Sequins from the retired Peaceful Poppies Sequins collection were added for a wee bit of sparkle.
