Hi! I created a delightful card for a sweet girl…
Playing with patterned paper for Make My Monday (#218) and choosing to paper piece for Inkspirational (#308) and selecting the Tuesday Morning (#743) sketch to bring it all together.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4¼” x 5½”) Bubble Bath Floral patterned piece of paper from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper pack.
- Accent Mat: (2⅞” x 4⅝”) Evening Evergreen retired cardstock from my scrap bin.
- Focal Panel: (2¾” x 4½”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Ballerina Girl from the retired Stylin’ Girl stamp set was stamped with Basic Gray ink.
- The sentiment, You were born to shine, from the retired Born To Shine stamp set was also stamped with Basic Gray ink.
- The Girl’s Skin was colored with the S1000 Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends Marker.
- Shadows were added with the retired Light Soft Sky Stampin’ Blendabilities Marker.
- Paper Piecing: Basic White cardstock scrap, Delightfully Eclectic Floral scrap, Bubble Bath Watercolor Wash patterned piece of paper from the On-Line Exclusive Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper pack scrap and Vellum scrap. All pieces were selectively stamped with parts of the Ballerina Girl image and Basic Gray ink and then fussy-cut with Paper Snips. All pieces were adhered in place.
- Hair: Basic White scrap colored with both the Light Wild Wheat and Bronze Stampin’ Blends Markers with highlight details added with my Black Liquid Gel Pen. The Crown was omitted by using the Stampin’ Write Marker.
- Tutu – Floral patterned paper.
- Ballet Shoes and Waist Sash – Bubble Bath patterned paper.
- Tutu Frill – Vellum.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch and I opted for the A2 size for this somewhat #simplestamping card. Just stamps, ink and paper!
Thanks for spending some more of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!

Your little dancer leant herself well to be paper pieced Jolanda! The floral pattern front and center on the top of her costume and the wonderful vellum skirt along with her pieced brown hair as well as the framing behind her – thanks for joining us at Inkspirational: paper piecing! Julia xx
