I pulled out a really old stamp set – Seasonally Scattered (circa 2014) and the Love image that had never seen ink for a number of clean and simple challenges.
The challenges: CAS on Friday (#276) – Valentine; Addicted to CAS (#251) – Heart; Simply Clean & Simple (#8) – add Pink; and the Cupcake Inspiration (#587) colors of Pink, Red & White for the AAA Cards (#258) Sketch which I flipped to the horizontal position.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Bubble Bath cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (5⅛” x 3⅞”) Real Red cardstock.
- Card Front: (5” x 3¾”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Love image with the scattered hearts & dots was inked with Bubble Bath ink and then Real Red ink was added with a Sponge Dauber to highlight the word Love.
Couldn’t be any simpler. #simplestamping – just stamp, inks and papers for a subtle valentine card.
