Hi! Again, there are more color challenges than sketch challenges this week. Lots of Sunday deadlines, and I am trying to get ahead so I can enjoy some of the expected sunshine.
Playing with Stampin’ Up! Only (#343) and the set of colors given. I opted to go monochromatic and chose Pool Party to create a card for Beautiful Blossoms (#13) and their Winter Blue Mood Board. Bringing it all together, I selected the Freshly Made (#620) sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Pool Party cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Pool Party Watercolor Wash patterned piece of paper from the Delightful Floral Designer Series Paper pack, an On-Line Exclusive product.
- A circle opening was die-cut with the (2½”) Stitched Circle die from the Stylish Shaped Dies set.
- Shape (1) Underlay: (3½” x 3½”) Gold & White Floral patterned piece of paper from the Free Sale-a-bration Most Adorned Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Color was added to the piece with a Blending Brush and Pool Party ink.
- The Flowers were colored with both the Light and Dark Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.
- Shape (2) Flower: One of the Flowers was clipped from the same piece of Designer Series Paper and also colored with the same Stampin’ Blends Markers and then fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
- Shape (3): On a scrap of the Pool Party Watercolor Wash Designer Series Paper, the sentiment, Thinking of You, from the Coffee with Friends stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder and then die-cut with the (1¼”) Stitched Circle die from the same dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The fussy-cut Flower was popped up with Dimensionals.
The soft and subtle coloring of this floral card makes it suitable for so many occasions.
Thanks for spending some more of your time with me today. Cheers, Jolanda!
