Quiet Meadow – Sending Thanks

Hi again!  There are some weeks when the ratio of sketches, themes and color do not balance out.  Such is the case this week.  More color challenges than available sketches.

That said, I created another clean and simple card for Color Throwdown (#776) and sharing with AAA Cards (#257) for an Anything Goes theme.

Here is what I came up with:

QUIET MEADOW – STIPPLED ROSES – CTD776 – AAACC257

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • Side Accent Strip: (⅜” x 5½”) Boho Blue cardstock scrap.
  • Side Accent Panel: (1½” x 5½”) Dotted patterned piece of paper from the retired Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper pack.
  • Accent Mats: (1¾” x 1¾”) Boho Blue cardstock scraps.
  • Focal Image: (1⅝” x 4⅞”) Basic White cardstock.
    • The Floral image from the Quiet Meadow stamp set was stamped with Boho Blue ink.
    • The sentiment, Sending Thanks, from the Stippled Roses stamp set was also stamped with Boho Blue ink below the Flower.
    • The Flower was colored with the Light and Dark Bubble Bath and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.
    • The Flower Panel was cut in three so that all the pieces were (1⅝” x 1⅝”).

All elements were adhered to the card base.

Thank You cards are always handy to have around and this one is fresh and bright and very easy to make.  Just stamps, ink and paper.

Thanks for spending a bit more of your time with me today.   Cheers,  Jolanda!
