Welcome back! Where does the time go? It is already Wednesday…
I am combining a number of similar challenges with today’s card starting with the Freshly Made (#618) Sketch.
Taking inspiration from the Inkspirational (#306) Mood Board and the TGIF (#454) Colors along with the Stampin’ Up! Only (#342) Materials with the Heart’s Quest (#45) and Make My Monday (#216) Themes.
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic Black cardstock.
- Accent Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Brushed Silver cardstock (retired).
- Focal Panel: (3¾” x 5”) Basic White cardstock.
- Using the retired Gold Wink of Stella® and the Clear Wink of Stella® Glitter Brushes, the diagonal stripes were added.
- The Gold Wink of Stella® Glitter Brush was flicked to add the gold splatter.
- Decoration – Curved Leaf Spray: Black Glimmer Paper (retired) die-cut with the Leaf die from the Dainty Delight Dies set.
- Decoration – Hearts: Brushed Silver cardstock scrap die-cut with the Five Heart die from the Thoughtful Moments Dies set.
- Sentiment – Celebrate: Basic White cardstock scrap.
- The word Celebrate on the SU Labelled side of the Thoughtful Moments Embossing Folder was inked with Versamark ink.
- The cardstock and the coordinating Words Hybrid die was fitted into the embossing folder.
- The embossed die-cut word, Celebrate, was then heat-set with Gold Embossing Powder.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Sentiment was tucked into the Leaf Spray and the Silver Hearts were added below. See image below for Glitter detail.
A clean and simple, yet lovely card suitable for any celebration.
