Planted Paradise – Happiness Wishes

Welcome back!  Chasing a deadline or two….

Working with the Tuesday Morning (#738) Sketch and taking a few liberties.  I flipped it to the horizontal position and fit my three shapes a little differently and picked the Letter “O” from the Christmas (or not) Bingo Board (#5) for the elements and chose the Color Throwdown (#774) selected colors.

Here is the result:

PLANTED PARADISE – TRANSLUCENT FLORALS – TMS738 – CBC005 – CTD774

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Old Olive cardstock.
  • Background Panel: (5⅜” x 4⅛”) Very Vanilla cardstock die-cut with the retired Stitched Greenery Die.
  • Three Rectangle Panels: (5½” x 4¼”) Crumb Cake cardstock die-cut with the (1¼” x 3¼”) Rectangle die from the retired Stitched Rectangles Dies set.
    • The sentiment, Wishing You all the Happiness in the World, from the Translucent Florals stamp set was stamped on one of the panels with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
  • Focal Images – Potted Plants: Very Vanilla cardstock scraps.
    • The Three Plant Pot images were stamped with 2nd Generation inks (stamped off once).  Large Pot – Misty Moonlight, Medium Pot – Night of Navy and Small Pot – Blueberry Bushel.
    • The various Leaf images were stamped with Mossy Meadow, Old Olive and Crumb Cake inks.
    • Two of the Larger Leaves were colored in with the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend Marker.
    • All Pots and Leaves were fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
    • The Potted Plants were assembled and a bit of retired Old Olive Linen Thread was tied around the Medium Pot.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble my version of the sketch.  The Potted Plants were popped up with Dimensionals.

A nice little all occasion card.
