Lifetime of Love – Beautiful Friendship

Welcome back!  Hope you are having a lovely start to the weekend.

Studio time and playing with the Freshly Made (#617) Sketch along with the Facebook Colour INKspiration (#157) Selection and sharing with Ellibelle’s Crafty Wednesday (January) and Love to Craft (#78) for their Anything Goes theme.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Orchid Oasis cardstock.
• Background Panel: (5⅛” x 3¾”) Bubble Bath Ombre patterned piece of paper from the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper pack die-cut with the largest Rectangle die from the Deckled Rectangles Dies set.
  • The sentiment, Our Friendship is a Thing of Beauty, from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set was stamped in the bottom white section with Orchid Oasis ink.
• Three Shapes – Rectangles: (5½” x 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The Daisy Flower image from the Lifetime of Love stamp set was stamped three times with Versamark ink and heat-set with Black Embossing Powder.
  • Using the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush the images were colored.  Daisy 1 – Flirty Flamingo, Daisy 2 – Orchid Oasis, Daisy 3 – Bubble Bath and Leaves – Lemon Line Twist and Coastal Cabana.
  • The Daisies were die-cut with the (1⅜” x 2¾”) Rectangle die, also from the Deckled Rectangles Dies set.
  •  The edges were highlighted with Coastal Cabana ink using a Sponge Dauber.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Daisy Panels were popped up with Dimensionals.

A pretty friendship card.
