Everyday Details – Lifetime of Love

Hi! Welcome back.  How to catch up after a fun holiday week?  Pick up and push on…

Playing with Creative Colours (#121) and chose an older published layout from Sketch Saturday to create another clean and simple card.

Here is the result:

LIFETIME OF LOVE – EVERYDAY DETAILS – CCC121 – SSFun2024

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
  • Accent Panel: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Highland Heather cardstock.
  • Card Front: (3¾” x 5”) Very Vanilla cardstock.
    • The sentiment, You make everyday a little brighter, from the Everyday Details stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Copper Embossing Powder.
    • The panel was dry-embossed with the retired Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Banners: (2¾” x ½”), (2½” x ½”) and (2¼” x ½”) Copper Clay 2023/2025 In-Color Luster Specialty Paper.
  • Focal Image: (2” x 2½”) Very Vanilla cardstock scrap.
    • The Daisy image from the Lifetime of Love stamp set was also stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with Copper Embossing Powder.
    • The Daisies were water colored with the Fine-Tipped Water Painter Brush picking up the color from the Ink Pad Lids.  Colors chosen: Flowers – Highland Heather and Leaves – Blueberry Bushel.
    • The image was die-cut with one of the Label dies from the All That Dies set.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Focal Panel was popped up with Dimensionals.

A sweet little friendship card suitable for many occasions.

  1. Do you have a web page or blog post that lists the challenge sites that you frequent? I know you list the ones you are using for each project and you often use certain ones frequently.

    Just wondering.

    1. Hi Daniel, Happy New Year. I do not have a specific list. I used to but it has morphed into a massive spreadsheet that I use to keep track of all the challenges that I participate in and it evolves as I add new ones that catch my interest. Thanks for asking. Cheers!
