Love Coffee Snowmen

Happy Christmas Eve!  I broke out my favorite holiday cups for my coffee this morning. 

Gearing up for the big day tomorrow.  Are you ready? I am sneeking in a little card crafting…and playing with Caffeinated Christmas Card (#24) along with Creative Colours (#120) and the Atlantic Hearts (#556) Sketch.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.
• Background Panel: (4¼” x 5½”) Lemon Lime Twist cardstock dry-embossed with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
• Vertical Strip – Layer 1: (1½” x 5½”) Lost Lagoon cardstock, Layer 2: (1¼” x 5½”) Gorgeous Grape cardstock, Layer 3: (1¼” x 5½”) Lemon Lime Twist cardstock die-cut with the Bubble die from the On-Line Exclusive Irresistible Blooms Dies set.
• Cross Strip: (6” x ¼”) Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon.
• Coffee Cup: Basic White cardstock.
  • The Coffee Cup was die-cut with the Cup die from the retired Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies set.
  • The Snowman image from the retired White Christmas stamp set was stamped three times across the Cup with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors chosen: Hats & Scarves – Dark Highland Heather, Light Lemon Lime Twist and Light Lost Lagoon; Noses – Light Pumpkin Pie; and Body Shadows – retired Light Soft Sky.
  • Little Snowflake Crosses were added to the Cup with my Pentel Liquid Gel Pen and highlighted with the Dark Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends Marker.
  • Additional Cup details were added with the retired Light Soft Sky Stampin’ Blends Marker.
• Coffee Foam: Basic White cardstock die-cut with the Foam die from the retired Coffee Cups Framelits Dies set and detailed with the retired Light Soft Sky Stampin’ Blends Marker,
• Sentiment: Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
  • The Word dies from the retired Love You More Than Dies set were die-cut.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch.  The Cup and Foam were popped up with Dimensionals and the words Love and Coffee were added.
