Happy Tuesday!
A whole lot is shakin’ here in the Studio. The Facebook – Stampin’ Through the Catalog challenge is featuring More Wishes today.

So, the other inspirations that informed my choices were: Inspiration Station (#56) with Mickey and Minnie Mouse festively dressed in the colors suggested by Facebook Colour INKspiration (#156). I opted to add Embossing for both the Can you Handle The Pressure (#44) with a Christmas twist and the Try Stampin’ On Tuesday (#635) Sketch option. Gingham and Pearls were added as materials suggested by Tic Tac Toe (#237).

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Background Panel: (5⅜” x 4⅛”) Basic White cardstock dry-embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
- Accent Strips: (4⅞” x ¼”) Real Red cardstock scraps.
- Accent Panel: (4⅞” x 3⅜”) Black and White Gingham patterned piece of paper from the retired Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper pack.
- Vertical Blocks: (¾” x 3”) and (1” x 3’) Real Red cardstock scraps also dry-embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
- Horizontal Block: (3” x 1⅛”) Shaded Spruce cardstock scrap.
- The word, CHRISTMAS, from the More Wishes stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- Secondary Sentiment: Real Red cardstock scrap.
- The word, merry, also from the More Wishes stamp set was also stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- The word, merry, was then closely fussy-cut with Paper Snips.
- Decoration – Holly: Real Red and Shaded Spruce cardstock scraps die-cut with the Holly Leaves and Berry dies from the Joy of Noel Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. Three large retired Pearl Basic Jewels (from my stash) were added as per the sketch design and the Tic Tac Toe requirement.
A fun mix of patterns and colors for a country fresh Christmas card.
