Welcome back! Happy Thanksgiving! Are you busy cooking or do you have a few minutes to spend crafting?
Did you watch the Macy’s Day Parade? So many wonderful fun and bright Holiday Floats and Costumes. This is my ode to the day.
The challenges: Just Us Girls (#706) and Inspired By (#264) for the colors and the theme. I chose the Freshly Made (#613) Sketch as it could easily be used for a Fun Fold Card for Creative Creases (#70).

Here is the result:

Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White cardstock.
- Background Panel / Card Front: (5½” x 4¼”) Shaded Spruce cardstock dry-embossed with the Floral Star patterned Basics 3D Embossing Folder.
- Banner Flag Strip: (¾” x 4¼”), (¾” x 2½”) and (¾” x 5½”) Bubble Bath cardstock scraps dry-embossed with the retired Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
- The Under Flag Strip was flagged with the Banners Pick a Punch.
- Center Panel: (5½” x 2½”) Basic White cardstock.
- The Rhino and Gift Sled image and the greeting, Happy Christmas Wishes, from the Festive & Fun stamp set were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
- The Scene was colored with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Colors chosen: Rhino – Light and Dark Smoky Slate; Horn – retired Light Seaside Spray; Scarf – Light Melon Mambo and Dark Bubble Bath; Skates – Light and Dark Melon Mambo; Birds – Light and Dark Bubble Bath; Wreath, Gifts, Bird Hats and Scarves – retired Light and Dark Coastal Cabana, Light and Dark Melon Mambo, Light Shaded Spruce; Sled – Light and Dark Smoky Slate; and Ice – Light Seaside Spray.
- The Banner extension was added to the panel and a few colored Rhinestone Basic Jewels were added.
- Fun Fold Gift Card Holder: (5½” x 5” scored at 2½”) Basic White cardstock.
- The greeting, A Little Something…, from the same stamp set was stamped inside the card.
- The Banner was adhered to the inside of the card with Tear & Tape Adhesive to hold a Gift Card or Money.
- The colored Scene was added to the front of the Fun Fold Gift Card Holder.
- The completed Fun Fold Gift Card Holder was adhered to the Card Front.
