Welcome back! I have the distinct pleasure to be invited to be a Guest Designer with Color Throwdown this week. What fun and what a nice selection of colors.
The illustration photo led me to the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper and I chose the Walk in the Forest photograph design. Such a pretty scene.
I selected the Inspire Create (#155) sketch for my design and I am sharing this card with Four Seasons (November) and Inspiration Station (#55).
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Cajun Craze cardstock.
- Accent Mat: (5⅜” x 4⅛”) Crumb Cake cardstock.
- Focal Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Walk in the Forest patterned piece of paper from the All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
- Panel Split: Braided Linen Trim (retired) wrapped across the lower portion of the panel and tied off with a knot.
- Sentiment Circle: (2” x 2”) Early Espresso cardstock scrap.
- The Compass Sentiment…Every Day Adventure, from the He’s All That stamp set was stamped with Versamark ink and heat-set with White Embossing Powder.
- The Sentiment was die-cut with the (1¾”) die from the Deckled Circle Dies set.
All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the sketch. The Sentiment was popped up with Dimensionals and a retired Champagne Rhinestone Jewel was added to the center of the Compass.
This would make an ideal Anniversary card as well as a nice Friendship card.
