Quiet Meadow – Heartfelt Sympathy

Sometimes all you need is a pretty piece of paper for an occasion that we often wish did not happen.

For Heart’s Quest (#41) Sympathy theme I selected the colors suggested by TGIF (#445)

I love the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper and in particular the White Painted Daisies with the Moody Mauve Centers on the beautifully painted Boho Blue Background. All that was needed was the ideal sentiment and I found that in the Quiet Meadow stamp set.

Here is the result:

QUIET MEADOW – FRESH AS A DAISY DSP – HQCB41 – TGIFC445

Steps:

  • Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Basic White Thick cardstock.
  • Card Front: (4¼” x 5½”) cut piece of patterned paper.
    • The sentiment, Heartfelt love and caring thoughts are with you, was stamped with Pecan Pie ink.

This soft and serene floral scene is lovely for a sympathy card.  So simple when the paper does all the work.  Just stamps, ink and paper.

  1. Jolanda: I thought you painted the background and the flowers!!! 🙂 Your card is lovely and you’re correct when a very pretty paper makes the card. This was a very good choice for a sympathy card. Thanks for participating in the Heart’s Quest challenge! –Becca
