Friday! How is it already the end of the week? Another clean and simple card for you today.
Playing with Paper Players (#662) using the technique suggested by Just Add Ink (#674) and sharing with Beautiful Blossoms (#10) and Ellibelle’s I Spy (#8).
Here is the result:
Steps:
- Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
- Background Panel: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock. Using the Sunflower Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, I created the gray-tone image.
- Mask 1 – Smoky Slate and Gray Granite inks applied with a Sponge Dauber.
- Mask 2 – Gray Granite ink for the Leaves.
- Mask 3 – Basic Gray ink for Flower Centers highlights.
- Mask 4 – Memento Tuxedo Black ink for Flower Centers.
- Sentiment, For You, from the Country Bouquet stamp set was stamped with Basic Gray ink.
- Spot Light: (4” x 5¼”) Basic White cardstock. The Stencils were used again to create the colored Sunflower using either a Blending Brush or a Sponge Dauber depending on the current color ink when last used.
- Mask 1 – Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral inks.
- Mask 2 – Old Olive ink.
- Mask 3 – Pecan Pie ink.
- Mask 4 – Copper Clay ink.
- A section of the Sunflower was die-cut with the (2⅜”) Circle die from the Deckled Circles Dies set.
- The edge of the circle was sponged with Copper Clay ink.
The card was assembled, and the Spot Light Sunflower was matched and popped up with Dimensionals.
A clean and simple floral card with the shades of Autumn highlighting a lovely Sunflower.

Gorgeous card Jolanda, those rich autumn colours just pop right off the page. I love the deckle edging and sponging too, they are the perfect finishing touch. Thanks so much for sharing it with us at Just Add Ink this week.
