Pink Christmas Coffee Gnome

How about a Christmas card to switch things up?

Playing with Jingle Belles (2321) for the October Breast Cancer Awareness Color Pink and chose Caffeinated Christmas (#22) for the subject image. Sharing with Krafty Chicks (#685) and Happy Little Stampers (October) selecting the Slim Line card layout from CAS Colours & Sketches (#523).

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (7½” x 6” scored at 3½”) Basic White cardstock.
  • For the Optional Twist at Happy Little Stampers, I chose the Snowflake Stencil from the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks set and added Bubble Bath ink snowflakes with a Sponge Dauber to the card front.
• Accent Trim(s): (3½” x ¼”) Berry Burst cardstock scraps.
• Focal Panel: (3½” x 3¼”) Basic White cardstock.
  • The little Christmas Gnome in the Coffee Cup was hand drawn using my Uni-ball Classic Deluxe Fine Black Pen.  Inspiration came from sample line drawn doodles found on Pinterest.  I do not have any Gnome stamp sets in my collection.
  • For Jingle Belles, the image was colored with Pink-Toned Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Colors Used: Coffee Cup – Light Berry Burst; Face – Light Petal Pink, Nose – Light Bubble Bath; Hat & Mittens – Dark Bubble Bath; Hat Heart – Light Berry Burst, Candy Cane – Light Cherry Cobbler & Light Bubble Bath; Other colors – Light Shaded Spruce, Light & Dark Wild Wheat with Light Smoky Slate used as shading.

All elements were adhered to the card base to resemble the clean and simple Slim Line sketch.

Pretty in Pink…Happy Christmas…Ho, Ho, Ho!
