Toxic Treats – Halloween

Welcome back! Take a break and all the challenge deadlines pile up. So let’s play!

Playing with a number of Halloween themed challenges: Double Trouble (#149) partnering with Park Hopping (October); Inspiration Station (#54); Heart’s Quest (#40); Cookie Color (#185) and Global Design Project (#415) for patterns: Patterned Paper, Repetitive Sentiment and Triple Elements.

Here is the result:

Steps:

• Card Base: (8½” x 5½” scored at 4¼”) Smoky Slate cardstock.
• Card Front: (3⅞” x 5⅛”) Basic Black Smoke Curl patterned piece of paper from the retired Night & Day Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.
  • The word Boo! and the Bat image from the Boo-tiful Bag September 2014 Paper Pumkin Kit along with the Raven on Gate image from the retired Toxic Treats stamp set were stamped with Versamark ink and heat set with Silver Embossing Powder.
• Embellishment – Hearts: Metallic Shimmer Specialty Designer Series Paper (retired Orange toned scrap).
  • Using the retired Owl Builder Punch, three Hearts were punched out and added to the card front.
• Embellishment – Orange Rhinestones: Rhinestone Basic Jewels colored with the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Marker and added to the card front for a bit more bling.
